Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Social Media Manager/Instagram Handler to join our team remotely from anywhere in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal welfare and a deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance our online presence and promote our mission of animal welfare.
2. Create engaging and creative content for Instagram, including posts, stories, reels, and IGTV videos.
3. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely manner.
4. Analyze social media insights and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and animal welfare to ensure content relevancy and effectiveness.

Responsibility:

1. Curate and schedule daily Instagram posts that align with our brand and resonate with our audience.
2. Source and create visually appealing graphics, photos, and videos featuring our rescue animals, success stories, and advocacy efforts.
3. Engage with followers, foster community interaction, and cultivate a positive and supportive online community.
4. Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and content creators to produce high-quality media content.
5. Work closely with the adoption team to showcase available pets and promote adoption events.
6. Moderate user-generated content and ensure compliance with community guidelines and policies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the animal welfare sector.
3. Proficiency in Instagram and other social media platforms, as well as social media management tools such as Buffer or Hootsuite.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
5. Passion for animals and a strong commitment to animal welfare and advocacy.
6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
7. Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and digital marketing principles is a plus.
